One of those was GO3, a company that was originally focused on vitamins and supplements. They were looking to launch a frozen food range with a focus on making frozen foods healthier. The company decided to go for one of England’s most famous footballers, with Beckham being present at the launch.
They went with Beckham as they felt he helped to show off the healthy properties of the range. The GO3 range contained omega-3 which is associated with brain development and concentration, going with Beckham as he was one of the world’s elite athletes at the time and a massive name in sports.
At the launch of the range, Beckham was present, at one point holding a plate with a huge tower of fish fingers on the plate. As well as being present at the launch, Beckham would also feature on the packaging for some of the fish fingers, as well as his signature being on the packaging.
The partnership did not end well, with sales of GO3 being far from what were expected, dropping to just £633 in sales in September the year after launch. Beckham stuck by the brand but it was certainly a disappointing end to David Beckham’s line of fish fingers.

There had been issues with the team finding a home but they managed to secure a home for 2020 onwards. It meant that Inter Miami entered the MLS in 2020 with DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale being the team’s home. Beckham currently acts as the team’s President, appointing former Manchester United teammate Phil Neville as the team’s Head Coach in January 2021.
When the Class of 92 purchased Salford City in 2014, it was surprising to see that Beckham was not part of the group considering it featured the rest of the group known as the Class of 92. The group helped to turn around the team and led them closer to becoming a professional team and reaching the football league.
Beckham decided to join the ownership group in January 2019, buying a 10% share in the club that had previously been held by Valencia owner Peter Lim. The deal was accepted by the FA at the end of January 2019 and Beckham became a director of the club.

Wrexham have a big reputation in Wales as they are the oldest club in Wales and the oldest professional association football team in the world.
It was a very surprising deal when it took place as Reynolds and McElhenney are not massive football fans. Both have been heavily involved with the club since taking over, with the pair being present at Wembley in 2022 when Wrexham lost 1-0 to Bromley in the FA Trophy Final.

Beckham taught the two about football and encouraged them to make an investment into it, with the pair settling on Wrexham. Reynolds has also helped to produce Welcome to Wrexham, a documentary on Wrexham over the last couple of years.
